Italy after an intermediate stop, in which at least 13 people are known to have
died in the incident and more than 400 passengers and crew members were
evacuated from the burned ship during an international rescue operation
conducted by the Italian Coast Guard in stormy seas, but the cause of the fire
was under investigation.
